Projects
The projects below demonstrate Shaun’s experience not only as a qualified bricklayer, but also in leading and coordinating construction sites from start to finish. He was trusted to oversee the day-to-day running of each site, making sure everything came together to deliver a quality finished product. Although he wasn't afraid to jump on the tools when required, his main responsibility was coordinating the job and keeping it moving.
This included organising materials, scheduling trades, solving problems on site, maintaining quality and ensuring work was completed in the right order. It's experience that has given Shaun a strong understanding of the entire building process and another reason why he is confident taking on broader responsibilities as a licensed builder.
Cnr Alva Tce & Highland St, Gordon Park QLD 4031
These stunning, european inspired Townhomes were an interesting and complicated build as the space was very limited on a 604m2 block, therefore the materials’ organisation and trades scheduling had to be well thought out. Shaun was given this responsibility as Site Foreman and Machine Operator by the company he worked for, as well as helping out with blocklaying, rendering, installing all mouldings around the buildings perimeter and window frames and all landscaping.

4 Freehold Townhomes
Thulimbah 4376
This residential house was a project that Shaun and his partner completed in 2025 and what a rewarding one it was! The house was removed from Redcliffe QLD in 2 pieces and re-joined onsite by the removal company in Thulimbah near Stanthorpe. Once re-stumped, the Electrician and Plumber were booked and the reno began. This house required more carpentry than Shaun’s normal scope of work in masonry. He installed windows, doors, stairs, balustrade and all renovation inside such as kitchen install and any repairs to flooring that was required. Also the painting, staining and all decorative reno’s were done by them both. This house was sold to a buyer who has now made this house a stunningly beautiful home inside and out.

Removal home - relocation and full renovation
1a Warde St, Scarborough QLD 4020
This project was Shaun’s last project with his previous employer due to that company director retiring. Shaun was promoted to Project Manager for all on-site facets of this job. This was a considerable task with a large Basement car park and the units spanning over 5 levels with an Elevator/Lift. His responsilibilities ranged from demolition and earthworks, building set-out, scheduling of trades, adhering to the plans provided and making sure each section of the build was completed in accordance to the Australian regulations.
Shaun also installed the custom curved Hebel parapet around the top of the building perimeter.
